Re: When does it stop hurting? wstcstmama: I wish so much I could forget. But knowing just days ago we both were saying how much we loved eachother make it so hard. I can still hear his voice. Its haunting.
Re: When does it stop hurting? AmyMarie1972: It is so very difficult at the begining not to look back. It took me some time to stop looking back and then I found that I managed to get into the habbit of when i was looking back I would quickly switch to thinking about something else, like what shopping I needed to buy, or what my plans were for the following day.
Time does and will help.
Hugs

Re: When does it stop hurting? Kermie: Amy's right. You will eventually learn to focus on other things. I don't know if the pain ever truly fades but you learn to deal with it in a different way. Like someone else said here on this board, if you cut your leg as a kid you still have a scar but it dosen't hurt like it did the day it happened. Time heals all, believe it or not. Hope you got some sleep by the way.
Re: When does it stop hurting? willow78: ;) :-*Well yes time will heal you, but I think you will never forget, I know I won't. He meant everything to me, how do you forget something like that? But, as the days go by, you get better, not perfect, just better. a love as strong as i had for my ex will never go away, I can put it away somewhere, but it will always be there. Maybe that isn't so bad, I guess it is ok to hold onto a little of it? It is just sickening to see them move on with someone else as if you were never a part of their life. not much you can do about it, except do good by yourself. It sucks, I know all to well, but you have to hang in there and go on. Good luck !!!
