Seperated for one year----no papers yet alienant: Ok so I left him a year ago to the date... It's not been easy. I decided to move away for school as he practically destroyed my career. He is abusive and manipulating...I guess what broke the camels back is when he wanted my savings for a car and I wouldn't give it to him... After that he would break things that I paid for. Plus he was seing someone else at his work. Anyway I had enough an left for good. I decied to give up my career and start over. Well... he's hard to track down .... he basically married me for my citizenship and when his finall papers came in he decided that he wasn't going to bother anymore. So the scenerio is that I'm in school and he agreed to get the paperwork off for a divorce.. I've left calls, emails etc to no avail... It rather annoys me that he won't do anything... what a bum.. it's like he's dropped off the face of the earth... Any suggestions.......

Well, there's not a lot here about your story, but it sounds like you've moved on with your life and just need to get some things finalized in order to fully move on. I think that if you were to file for divorce then he would be tracked down by "the officials" to get papers served to him. I don't think you really even have to deal with him face to face. Other people on here might have different information on this. ???
Anyhow, again I'm sorry this is happening but it sounds like moving on and going back to school for yourself was a really good decision! take care.
