What are YOU thankful for? SunnyFlower: Hey, everyone!!

Thought I'd post something nice to remind me of all the good things I have going for me, instead of thinking about the fact that it's my first Thanksgiving without my stbx in 10 years....here are just a few things: :D

1.) My 2 year old boy is beautiful, active, loving, and most importantly perfectly healthy

2.) I am beautiful, active, loving, and most importantly perfectly healthy :)

3.) I have a great family that is always there for me

4.) I have a great job that allows me and my son to live comfortably without depending on ANYONE else (I am SO PROUD of that fact!!)

5.) I have learned from many of my mistakes and can forgive myself for them (I am only human, afterall....)

6.) For all of the good advice and wonderful support you guys offer here on Ojar...you are a fantastic bunch, each and every one of you!!

What are you thankful for??

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Re:What are YOU thankful for? dominowin: Good morning on this Thanksgiving Day. Before I head out for the day's extravaganza, thought I'd post to this. I'm incredibly thankful for so many things, most especially how I'm having a positive end to what was an incredibly tough year. I'm so thankful for my family (and my entire relationship with them has actually been strengthened by my divorce), for my friends (so many have stuck by me through thick and thin this year), for Ojar (you guys have been a lifesaver), and for all the lessons it took me years to learn but have finally sunk in over the past few months: That you only get one life and it's short, so you'd better deal with it. That you need to live for yourself, not for someone else. That it's better to be alone than in a horrible marriage. That it's okay to be alone. That physical intimacy is really, really important in a relationship. That no one can really know what you need except you. That it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. That confidence and independence is sexy. That you should live in the present, not the past or future. Lots and lots of lessons.

Have a wonderful holiday everyone!
Re:What are YOU thankful for? finney5: A little belated..

I'm thankful that time doesn't stand still.
That even though the holidays this year may be tough, it'll just seem like a bad dream next year at this same time.
I'm thankful for family (mine).
