Country fried steak! penguin: 1/2 cup Bisquick 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon paprika 1 pound beef round steak, cut into serving-size pieces 2 tablespoons shortening 1/4 cup water 1 cup water 1/4 cup water  In small bowl combine Bisquick, salt, pepper and paprika.  Coat pieces of meat in Bisquick mixture; reserve leftover mixture.  In skillet cook meat in hot shortening until meat is browned.  Add 1/4 cup water; cover and cook over low heat about 2 hours or until meat is tender.  Remove meat from pan.    Add 1 cup water to drippings in pan.  Stir together 2 tablespoons of the reserved Bisquick mixture and 1/4 cup water.  Stir into hot liquid gradually.  Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute.  To serve, pour gravy over meat.  4 servings.
