i have never been a religious person, as far as the "going to church every sunday" thing goes. however, i have seen how it can help people. i have wanted to get involved with a church for a while now so that i could maybe better understand religion as a whole and also for the emotional support that they can give to someone. i wanted my kids to get involved so that they could meet other people in the community (children and adults). i wanted to meet other people as well.
so far it has been a very positive experience for us. i have met quite a few people and while i wouldn't consider them to be "friends" yet, i feel comfortable visiting with them and they are starting to figure out my situation (being a single mother) and are starting to get me to open up about it (believe it or not, i don't open up as well in real life as i do on here) which is really helping.
the kids went to vacation bible school last week and they had an absolute blast. i don't know what all they talked about there, but their behavior in general has been a little bit better. i'm not going to question it. lol

I don't think BBH would be planning on marrying you if you were pure evil. She seems like a bright sweet woman who would know not to go around you if you were. But, they do say good girls love bad boys!! ;)
Thanks for the responses. I think I am going to service this Sunday. We'll see. I think I am just looking for something to take my attention off things. I agreel with you Amola about the emotional support you can receive there. I also am hoping my kids can start to meet more children their age.
