Re: can't stop thinking about the future lexi1012: interesting way of looking at it. It was just so much easier when I was younger. When I was 20 or 21 I went out with someone for three years. We broke up - I was sad for a short time, but quickly went out and met other people.  So much has changed now - I'm older, I'm cautious, I have a child. It's just so much more difficult. I'm not as carefree as I was ten years ago, but maybe that's a good thing.  When I feel ready, I will really know what I want in a relationship and I will have worked on myself first.
Thanks

Re: can't stop thinking about the future Kermie: It is alot more difficult to do thingss now than when we were 21 (ohhhhhh I miss those days).  I went and played laser tag a few years ago, it would have taken me till lunch the next day to not feel sore, after 30 it took me a week not to feel sore.  Our hearts are the same way, we did not know as much then as we do now, back then life was a span of a few days, we have learned that it is much longer than that and we changed ourselves accordingly.  We started saving money for our kids collage and not for the next twelve pack at the quicky mart.  We take care of our cars because we know the price of gas is going up not becasue we think we may get lucky in the backseat if its clean.  And we planned our future to be with our spouses and not until the semester was over and she/he headed back home.  We might have thought that after a split back then that it was the end of the world but got over it within a few days. Now we know what true heartbreak is and we will get over it. Its just time and if theres one thing we still have it is time.
