Re: definition of 'let it go' journey: >what IS letting go?
The answer will depend on the context that this phrase is used in.
In certain context, it could mean: start focusing on other interesting and wonderful aspects of you, your life and the world around you.
It does not mean forget what happened. It does not mean forgive someone.
How about remembering something else; look forward to something else; go for a long run or pump some iron or go swimming; recall friends you long ago liked, trace them, talk with them...; make new friends; etc.
When we hold ourselves to how someone or something has wronged us, we tend to feel sad, let past hurt us and we tend to miss out on other interesting and wonderful aspects of our lives and the world around us.
There are contexts where none of the above may apply.
