Re: Dividing assets Mooneyes: Back in the olden days that put music on vinyl and the true treasures of our collection lie there, and also other media that are not as easily reproduced. Oh I love the grooved discs of sound!
Re: Dividing assets half full: I took half of the bills and told my stbx she could have everything else.I figure if I have to start over I might as well start with stuff that doesn't have all the memories attached to them.Plus alot of stuff was her choice and not really my style.
Re: Dividing assets jillieb44: I took my business, my student loans, one credit card, my antique furniture that he hated, a few miscellaneous items (ie lamps he hated, a few knick-knacks), my stuff pre-wedding, and the photo albums. I left him everything else (house, contents, garage, etc).
Likely there is a difference in worth, and that's where the attorneys will figure it out. Basically I want my share of the house in cash as well as half the assets, minus whatever my business is worth. What I have now may be all I end up with.
The only other thing I want is for the ex to start paying child support.

Re: Dividing assets amola: my ex sat and composed a list. and i mean a LIST. he itemized out everything that he wanted, down to the specific number of towels and washcloths. it was rediculous, to say the least. i didn't argue about much of it, but we did fight about the coffee/end tables. i finally caved and gave them to him.
he helped pack most of it. it sucked, but then, at least there was no "well i asked for this and you didn't give it to me" kind of bullsh!t.
