Still Going to Sydney sheydp: As I told you all, I am going to Australia for my "trip of a lifetime". I got sick last Wednesday, and just wasn't getting better. As I sat in my Doc's office on Monday (2nd visit) with a 104 fever and 10 lbs lighter than the previous week, I was pretty sure I wasn't going anywhere thursday morning. I have severe bronchitis. At the time I had body aches galore, felt lightheaded and fuzzy, was coughing constantly (with some horrible side effects to that you don't EVEN want me to mention), 104 fever, could barely stay awake... Australia seemed further than even distance was making it...
Antibiotics are lovely. Tuesday morning fever was almost gone, head much clearer, could stay awake for long periods of time - even went to work for 2 hours! Today, I am mostly packed, fever GONE, only aches left are the ones in my ribs from coughing so dang hard for so dang long (still coughing, sigh).
I AM GOING TO SYDNEY!!! Seems like a miracle!
