One night of sleep
.

One night of sleep genesplicer: That's all I want.  One freakin night of good sleep, heck I'll take a couple hours at this point.

I'm tired of being tired.  It's been 11 weeks of no sleep or at the very best really crappy sleep.

JUST GIVE ME ONE NIGHT, THAT CAN'T BE TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR!!

Ok, that's a little better.  Now back to your regularly scheduled night of insomnia already in progress.  ::)

Well maybe one of these would help....[/color">

Re: One night of sleep startingover: Have you tried tylenol pm or meletonin?  Work for me when I can't sleep.
Re: One night of sleep genesplicer: Unfortunately I haven't found any that can successfully turn my brain off.  Just end up feeling worse in the morning with the brain vs sleeping pill battle.

I've tried tylenol pm and a slew of herbal remedies, don't even feel a difference from them.

I guess on the bright side I'll be pre-conditioned to go back to the party scene if/when I'm ready again...

Must find humor to keep the insanity away.  ;D
Re: One night of sleep startingover: Guess I am one of the lucky ones.  I only had about a week of insomnia when the ex and I split.  It has been almost a year now, and I sleep better than I have in years.

The trick with meletonin is to take when you are getting into bed.  It only stays in your system for 1/2 hour.  You can take 2 doses a night up to 5 mg a piece.  The specialists told me this when my boys where diagnosed with apnea so I know the source is good.
