Re: What is... in_search_of: half full,
while that is clever, its not particularly legal, especially if they are complaining about unsafe working conditions, etc. I would be really careful about saying such things even in jest!

Re: What is... alonewith2: My boss moved me to a new desk/workstation, and then gave my old desk/workstation to the new girl. Then she told me that the new girl was not allowed to answer the phone until after she was properly trained, and therefore, I would have to answer her phone. I thought she was kidding until one day (as my boss was training her) her phone rang, and my boss looked at me and told me to get it. So I got up from my desk, walked the 3 feet across the room to where they were sitting......reached between the two of them.......and answered the phone. It was for my boss, so I transferred the call to her phone (across the hall in her office), hung up when it connected, and then told my boss that it was for her and that she would need to go answer HER phone. Anyway, I never was asked to answer the new girl's phone again!!

There complaints are typically"I know I'm scheduled til 8:30,but can I go home now"or "why do I have to take out the trash" or "do I have to take this delivery, they never tip".All complaints with merit are tended to.I am just tired of listening to the constant whining.
Re: What is... in_search_of: I figured as much, and I think its pretty funny...personally...but, all it takes is one person to take you seriously (ie one stupid person) and have a real complaint for you to get in trouble...
