Can part of a divorce settlement be changed? Suddenly Single: After a year when a sum of money which is quite high - almost 1/2 the person's salary is owed - can that part of the settlement be reviewd if it wasn't fair and the person who is owed to has cost that person a lot of money throughout the year?
I think I have to think about how to ask this better and modify....

Re: Can part of a divorce settlement be changed? in_search_of: It depends on what kind of settlement it was as well, because some of those are final at the time of judgement. Other things, like child support are not final until the time at which the check is due, and can be modified....
