OK not often I say something that I like.... Suddenly Single: In posting to someone about cheating I made this revelation to myself and actually like it:
People don't cheat because of who they are with, they cheat because of who they are.

Suddenly Single: the day after I found out my ex cheated - a friend pulled me aside and told me that I might not be ready at this point to hear this but if I can start wrapping my mind around it I would heal a lot faster "him cheating had nothing to do with you." We talked a little bit more about his experience and that one statement made the biggest difference to me. It IS hard to understand but when you do - you can let go of some of the pain and hurt you have.

And the fact is, he wouldve cheated whether it was her or someone else, becasue its about him, he is a cheater. Its not about me, and its not about his next "victim" (ie. OW)either.
