wedding dress finney5: Okay so we've already covered the question of what people have decided to do with their wedding rings, but what have they decided to do with their wedding dresses? I'm still unsure myself. On the one hand, it was my dream dress and is absolutely gorgeous. On the other hand what good is it doing me? And who would want to wear a dress that ended in divorce?
Re:wedding dress picadilly: Well, this one has been bugging me abit too. After my stbx wife left she put her wedding dressing a bag for charity pick up. :-\ It hurt me allot but thinking about it realisticly now... she would never really have a need for it again, if she choses to get married somewhere down the line, I'm sure it would not be in the same dress ::)
But that may not be the answer for you. Keep it if it has any emotional value to you or get rid of it if it hurts too much to keep. You can always try selling it on e-bay.
Re:wedding dress CHRISTINE1972: Well, I really love my wedding dress and vail, it is the most perfect dress, well at least I thougt so. I am thinking about giving my dress and vail to a consiment shop maybe somebody else will have better luck with it. My Divorce has just started and I only wish that I could change everything, I really miss my husband but he wanted this and I know it is for the best.
Re:wedding dress ChrisJane: I'm keeping my wedding dress for a grand daughter. My aunt did a lot of work on my dress so it has a family history to go with it.
Re:wedding dress justmenow: I gave my wedding dress to a co-worker at Halloween who was going as the Bride of Frankenstein. I thought it was an appropriate and symbolic end... ;)
