Re: Addiction grober: Geez, Bob.
Were we separated at birth or something?
Everything you're going through I can SO RELATE to. I went through it all the end of last year. It really sucks. You're right: does get better. You seem to be doing all the right things. I made plenty of mistakes (giving in to those feelings) before I learned to break out of the habit. It was really hard.
Stay on track man. You'll get out eventually.
Take care.
Re: Addiction Carrie: I am also one of those super-responsible care-taking people - never thinking of myself - only thinking of others... The book that I found MOST helpful and eye-opening is one called: "Too Good for Her Own Good". I highly recommend it. It's amazing that a book can so revealingly define why many women are never happy. It's an addiction to being "good", the only problem is that all the things today's society defines as making a "good" woman are at odds with each other and teach women to subjugate their real selves to the sewer.
