Re: JERK!! in_search_of: I vote for a good old shin kick...but other than that I think that power struggle and CRI are good options. And about the whole deal with who runs the household, he knows that he doesn't and you know that he does not, he should not have asked, it was plainly stupid....Sorry that you are having to deal with all this!
Re: JERK!! Spectrum: Okay, PG, this is just absolute cr@p and I think you know it!
The proof is in the fact that he wouldn't just tell you what the passcode was in advance so you could turn it on and off yourself. Instead he sets it to something that you might not know (theoretically) and refuses to tell you the code?
That is just ridiculous bullsh*t.
If you want to get some amusement and sink to his level, I'd change the code to something else and turn the tv off right before he gets home. Then when he freaks out because he can't get it unlocked, tell him he must have screwed it up when he entered the password.
Let him stew over that for a couple hours and then sneak in an unlock it when he isn't around. Maybe that will give him the picture.
Talk about a major prick. I don't know how you can put up with that kind of thing.
Spectrum.
