Sent the letter, got a response dgiirl: and I'm in tears and hate myself. I'm still happy for sending the letter, and I got a civil honest deep-thought response, but I'm so upset that it's over. He's acknowledged the problems, admitted his own faults, even appologized for the way he handled the splitting up. So why cant we work on this? Why has he turned so cold on me? I guess sometimes sorry isnt good enough.

Exactly, it seems so easy to solve, but then it's not. I guess having closure is a good thing. As I said in another post, I know I've done everything I possibly can. I have no regrets.
