I don't think it would bother me if I just started dating someone, but then again I am the jealous type so it probably would. HEck I dunno. Do what makes you comfortable and a girl with either take it or leave.
Re: Question for the ladies in_search_of: I have to say that it does not bother me, when G and I started dating I had a pic of Scott and I in the living room, because I liked the pic and it was good memory. On top of that to this day, I have a few wedding pics around because that was the last family event that my grandmother was alive for, so I keep those out, and they are some of the only pictures that my sister and I have together that are cute!
I don't even know if G has a pic of his ex anywhere, I have never seen it, but nope, never een one!
Re: Question for the ladies Suddenly Single: I don't believe in having pictures of the ex around. It would make me wonder why you had them still up and if you were over her. Pics in the kid's bedrooms makes perfect sense to me but it would bother me in the living area.
There is a wedding pic with her in it above the parent's fireplace. it is of their only daughter's wedding...all the other pictures are gone. that one does not bother me....well other than the sudden urges to puke when I see her ugly mug!
Re: Question for the ladies slickwilly: it's one of those things its a family picture its not like it was happy times we were split up the first time never expected to get back together but i ws a sucker but my poin is ive had it up and kinda like well what do i do with it now forget its there but i think maybe moving it to one of the kids rooms is a pretty good idea
Re: Question for the ladies AmyMarie1972: Yeah I think that it would probably be a good idea to move it to one of the kids bedrooms for them to still see it.
I took down all the pictures of the ex that I had up and one of them was a family pic of us and the kids. I gave the kids the chance to have it hung in their rooms and they didn't want to so have it waiting for when they do want it.
