Re: damn lawn amola: i've been pretty lucky so far this year......i've only had to mow a couple of times because it's been so dry. but with the rain that we're getting this weekend, i'm sure that i'm going to have to do it within the next week sometime. might have to wait for 2 weeks though so that i can do it without having the kids running around the yard at the same time...they make me way too nervous when i'm trying to mow! lol
according to the info with my house, it's only 0.25 acres. but there are several fenced in areas that break it up.....so it actually takes 2-3 hours to mow by the time that i get each area done. ugh.
Re: damn lawn alonewith2: same here, Amola.....It was hard to keep up with in the beginning of summer, but it has been so dry that the lawn in basically dead.....like my plants :)!! But we did finally get some rain yesterday, so I'm sure I'll be mowing again this week :(!!
Re: damn lawn mjhjane1977: Mowing the lawn sucks, specially when u almost run yourself over and are drug around my the stinkin' self propel that is stuck on high speed but when your done you can look back at it and say it looks nice. I've found that I do a better job than MLTT anyday. Its worth it!!!

I used to play music to help. Lately it has been Moonshadow by Cat Stevens. It makes me feel better when I am in a rut or doing something I don't like. He says disgustingly positive things like even if he lost his eyes, legs, etc he would still be fine.
Just funny to me really...
