STBX's with good hearts DO finish first! HeartbrokenDingo: I moved out of our house and into an apartment. My stbx "rented" the house out. He moved in with the OW. In Pre-trial, my lawyer "inquired" about" the rental" and he denied it and said she was a friend and she was staying there for free.
I filed for divorce on March 25th. All of our bills, including the mortgage were paid in full, including the mortgage. The mortgage is now 5 months in default and tha mortgage company is forclosing on our dream home.
I knew all along that he was collecting rent on that house, but I couldn't prove it. My lawyer, (see previous posts for what a stubborn, obnoxious mule he is...) said, "What the F*** do you care??" The house has no equity!!! Let it go!!"
No. I was not about to let it go. I wasn't going to let her have my house, too. :'( :'(
