I figured that eventually I would have to "give up" the house "so to speak" in the final divorce agreement. You see, the problem is: (REMEMBER THIS...IT'S IMPORTANT!!) THE "NOTE" WAS IN MY HUSBAND'S NAME. NOT MINE.
However....the HOUSE IS IN BOTH OF OUR NAMES......HE'S THE ONLY ONE ON THE LOAN PAPERS.
YES, THAT'S CORRECT. HE IS REPONSIBLE FOR THE MORTGAGE PAYMENT, BUT I'M ON THE DEED AND THE MORTGAGE. Basically, it comes down to this: He borrowed the money to buy the house, ("so to speak"), so HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE ACTUAL MONEY BORROWED but, because I'm his wife I had to be on the mortgage just in case the bastard defaulte. which he has.
Unfortunately the stupid Pri** underestimated how much he needed my salary to make that "nut" every month.
What a dumba$$.
