I did all the touristy things, of course - the shopping (surprisingly like tourist shops in the US-same products, just different location name printed on the t-shirts! lol). I did the monorail around the city, a ferry in the harbor, the Maritime Museum, the wonderful Sydney Aquarium, as well as visiting the gorgeous Blue Mountains and seeing the 3 sisters... But thanks to a native Aussie, I also got to see some wonderful things outside of the tourist domain. I got to visit a national Park, wander the rainforest a bit, visit a non-touristy beach and watch the ocean and peer into ocean filled rock pools at the shore. I got to do almost everything I wanted... I just wish I hadn't been still sick and so weak. I ended up unable to have very full days because I was just too tired and coughing too much. I'm afraid I was quite a drag, and I know my friends didn't always enjoy my company, for various reasons. I have some lovely memories, and wonderful pictures, though, and I will never forget my visit.
