Smiley and Gas Guy's First Date Smiley17: OMG!!! This is so corny, but incredibly sweet. I hope this makes you smile! :D
So, I pick him up at 6:30, and off we go to my friend L's house. It's a pretty long drive and I'm nervous as hell. We talk on the way there, but I was so nervous that I can't remember a thing we talked about!
We get there, he meets L and E, we get ready to leave, and L drives. It's another long drive, and Gas Guy (D) and I are in the back seat. He puts his hand in the middle between us, but I had no idea on whether or not that was a sign for me to hold it or not, so I didn't.
We get to the beach, and of course, I'm cold, so I put my sweatshirt on. We walk across the bridge and it starts to feel colder and colder. So, I wrap myself up more in my sweatshirt. As we're walking, I can feel him looking at me every now and then, but I'm still so freakin nervous, that I never look up. ::)
So, we get to the other side of the beach, put the blanket down, and we all sit down and talk. As it gets darker, we notice that the fog begins to roll in. So, we still sit and talk, I become the butt of a few of E's jokes, no shocka there, then as we're talking, I can feel D getting closer to me. I felt that he wanted to put him arm around me, but neither one of us makes that move. I felt like I was on my first date ever! Like I was 15 or something! LOL!
As the fog gets thicker, we decide to go back to L and E's house. As we do, I keep stepping on rocks and they freakin' hurt! So, D offers me a piggyback ride. At first I'm like, "No, it's ok", then I lose my blanace for a sec, and he holds my hand, I step on more rocks, and finally give into the piggyback ride. So cute! He gave me a piggyback ride so I wouldn't have to step on rocks. :D
We get back to the car, and he does the same move with putting his hand between the seats. So, this time, I bite (not literally! :P) and put my hand on top of his, and he wraps his hand around mine and squeezes onto it gently. Yup! We held hands the whole way back to L and E's house. A few times I felt him look at me, but when I looked at him, he was looking the other way. It was so funny.
When we get to L's, we decide to hang out and watch a movie. I let him sit on the couch and I sat on the floor because I'm a lot smaller than he is. He's 6'4" and I'm only 5'!!! We watch the movie and L's cats are all over us, which is something they never do. One sits with him, the other sits with me.
On the way home, we didn't talk all that much because I was still kinda nervous and exhausted! I bring him home, and he leaned in and gave me a quick kiss. I thought he was just going to give me a hug, so I was a little caught off guard, but next time, I'm really kissing him!
So, when I get home, I find out that my neighbor's front door got kicked in by a group of kids that were walking by, which never happens on our street, but things happen. Yesterday I found out that D is a cousin of said neighbor, so I called him and told him what happened. Because he has a dog and lives basically right down the street, he came by to see that everything was ok. Things are, but he told me to call him if something happens, or if I feel scared. As he goes to leave, I notice that he had a beetle on his shirt, so I swept it away for him. He thought I was giving him another kiss, but I wasn't going to in the middle of the street like that.
NOT that I didn't want to! I just couldn't then. I still had some nerves and I was a little freaked about what just happened to my neighbor.
Next time... He's supposed to call me tomorrow!! :D
All in all, it was a nice, sweet night! Yay!!!! A gentleman for a change!
