hehe didnt mean to push a button. :)

I just cant fathom the idea of my stbxh never loving me and marrying me anyways.  There were absolutely no reasons to do that except he lacked courage and was extremely selfish.  But my gut instinct just screams that he's lying when he's saying that.  It just doesnt register.

Sorry if I offended anyone

Re: Can anyone explain to me "I just don't love you anymore" tyrogers: I am sure he knew it was coming.  But, no, I had never mentioned it until I looked at him and said "I want a divorce".

dgiirl - HEE HEE  :-*  I did not say I never loved him.  I said I did not love him like I should have.  ;)

Re: Can anyone explain to me "I just don't love you anymore" whatnext: I think if somebody says "I just don't love you anymore", you may want to consider that, while blunt, the statement is direct, and isn't trying to "be something it's not".

I was cheating, and I came to this place, a la bbh: too young, too young, too young.

I don't lover her anymore, so I left.  Before I left, and before I could say those words (which do hurt, to be sure), the sentiment was expressed as anger and dysfunction.

So honesty may be the best policy...
Re: Can anyone explain to me "I just don't love you anymore" kfc75: On a side note, she was having some sort of online affair when all this happened, someone she used to go to HS with, I found e-mails talking about how they had both spent the last 8 years trying to get back in touch with each other, and how they seem like a match made in the stars.  She still maintains he was "just a friend" and that he was just helping her thru it since he had been thru a similar situation.  Yeah, sure so explain my catching you having phone sex.

Part of me wonders if he was just giving her the push she needed to get herself out of a bad situation, or if it was the cause, I guess I will never know for sure.
Re: Can anyone explain to me "I just don't love you anymore" whatnext: I think that sometimes the REASONs can develop over long periods of time, while

the DECISIONs and ACTIONs can seemingly happen "overnight".

Usually affairs happen because the relationship is failing, right?  Not the other way around...
