LOW: This freaking thread reminded me of the movie "The story of us" So now here I sit watching it and sobbing my heart out.....like I have at least 20 times since I bought the damn thing after my ex and I split.....god, am I sadistic or what? Why dont I throw the damn thing out?
Re: High & Low jt5639: HIGH: Had a great week of work, kicked a@@ at my job, meet a bunch of people. Had multiple guys flirting with me! Made me realize how silly it is for me to think that at 26 I'm never going to have another great love. Felt attractive, sexy, desired...I miss that me!
LOW: Right as I was thinking about what a good day it was, I opened up my e-mail and got an e-mail from the ex - first contact in months. Just "saying hi". He's trying, I know he cares and wants me in his life, but it set me back, took away my high. It's so much easier when I can think of him as an a*hole. I see he misses me...but unfortunately that gives me hope, and I know that we don't miss each other in the same way. Don't know if I'm gonna write back. Also - went to the gym yesterday - the scale said I had gained 6 lbs in a week!
HIGH: Today the scale said I was the same weight as last week. WTF? Think the scale was messed up yesterday. Hope today was the real weight.

High: Still hanging in there with my new interest and it's still going great. Had a great dinner with him last night and then walked on the beach. Very romantic. Not to mention the awesome sex on the hood of my car while it was thunderstorming out. ;)
Low: My daughter having to deal with things that a normal 13 year old shouldn't. I'm considering counseling for her although we did it before and she hated it. *Sigh* Being a parent is hard.
