Re: Smiley's Dating Story jillieb44: Time.
I have plenty of that due to LACK of time...meaning I can't rush this frienship/relationship/whatever it is even if I wanted to....
He did tell me to just call and he'd be there...so that's a huge plus...
But I'm not ready for my kids to meet anyone yet and therefore my available timeto be with him is nearly nil.....

Re: Smiley's Dating Story Smiley17: Well, GG and I are almost a month into this. Can you believe that? Almost a month!!
Yesterday, we had a great day! I invited him to go to Plymouth with the boys and me, and he happily accepted.
We drove to the water front around 11:00, hung out and watched the boats while the kids ran around us, then went to have lunch, which he paid for. Incredibly generous considering he's unemployed at the moment. I tried to fight it, but he wouldn't let me.
We walked around for a while and thought it would be a good idea to go on the Mayflower II for a little while. I paid for us to get in (only fair!), and GG and my 6 year old walked around, while GG gave him mini lessons on the history of the ship. Soooo cute! He showed T the cannons, and T was all excited. Little D and I walked around and D (3 year old) kept asking cute little questions about spider webs to the guides.
After the Mayflower, we walked some more ot a park close to the water front. The last time I was there, it was under construction for repair. It was beautiful and full of ducks and small fish in it's creek. We walked the entire park, stopped to look at things and let the boys run around for a little while. D tried to find every spider web he could, and GG was right there helping him.
T kept asking GG if he could ride on his shoulders, and GG was happy to let him. They became inseperable. Even little D had to get in on the action! At one point GG had both boys! He insisted on carrying them both! The boys love him! Oh, and he loves them too! :D
After a little while, we went to get ice cream, and just try to relax a little bit. It was late afternoon, and I could tell that the boys were running out of steam.... much like Mommy! So, we drove home. At one point all three of them were asleep!
We get home, and ordered pizza because I was too tired to cook anything. He ate pizza with us, and left here around 7 to go take care of his dog, and so I could give the boys their bath and get them ready for bed.
Around 9, he came back over, and we watched something about SNL, he looked at me, smiled, then kissed me. He told me he was dying to do that all day, but respected how I feel about that stuff in front of my kids. Is he great, or what?
I was so tired that I fell asleep on his lap and woke up around 10:45. He thought I was cute because I had no energy and each time I tried to get up, I fell back down! It was like I was drunk! LOL! He ended up leaving around 11:00 so I could get some real sleep and told me to call him when I woke up.
T woke me up at 7, but I stayed in bed until about 7:45, then called him. Well, that's what he wanted!! LOL!!
Not sure what the plans are for today, but I know I'll be seeing him. It's been every single day since our first date. :D
