This line made me laugh. Maybe we could "maleify" this even further. "Honey, do these pants accentuate my bulge too much?

Re: Sweet ... or psycho? LettinGo: Thanks for the input everyone.
Guys,
I completely understand the "double standard" point. But, if you reverse the situation, as a man, would you still be bothered by the tears from a woman you were seeing for 3 months, on your 7th "date" (for lack of a better word - his first real weekend staying at my house)? And not just a few tears while saying goodbye, I am talking full blown crying hours before she had to leave? Or is that normal at this point in a relationship?
Everything else about this man is great and I don't plan on not seeing him anymore because of this, but I am concerned (like dgiirl said) that we are at two different emotional stages in this relationship.
It was just a little weird when it happened. Almost like when someone tells you that they love you, but you don't love them back, and you don't know what to say. Know what I mean? (And no, he has not said that, and I am not referring to US in particular ... lol)

BTW, I just got the most beautiful vase of flowers delivered to my office today (sent from him).
Re: Sweet ... or psycho? clambakesX: With all due respects to Beren and Bubba and the very real issue of double standards, I don't think LettinGo is applying a double standard here.
Whether it's just a different-stages question, or something deeper, is a key point here. Why is he making her responsible for his emotional state? A man crying at this stage sets off my alarm bells. My father cried (presumably still does) all the time as a manipulation thing.
I don't think it's easy to be a man. You do, though, have a lot of things in life that you can just take for granted. And too d@mn many men take a woman's support and undying devotion for granted LONG before they've earned it.
