Re: Volunteer Work - anybody know anything about.... jackass: hey, update! Good news is I jsut spoke with a gal at the red cross in orange county. they ahve 9 day and 3 week deployments and the chances of me going is looking like 100%. I'm going to go see them Friday I think!
Re: Volunteer Work - anybody know anything about.... Bubba: Well from what I understand, the Canadian Federal has annouced plans to send aid, though I am not sure in what form yet. I am still waiting to hear the details. Also the Provincial government of Ontario has put a call into the US ambassador to ask in what way we can assist.
To think this morning I wrote the Prime Minister, the Premier, my MPP, and my MP giving them hell for not doing anything yet!

Actually I heard a radio DJ on saying the same sort of thing that I wrote. I am just happy they are planning on doing something.
