I think I'm falling out of love with my exwife.
.

I think I'm falling out of love with my exwife. hudson: I was so incredibly in love with my exwife.  I knew I would always be in love with her.  But lately, I'm feeling it fade.  For the first time I can honestly say..."i wouldn't take her back".  I mean honestly say it, not some off the cuff emotional statement.  My love for her is fading, it's sad and totally against my nature to allow it, but it's happening.  And you know what?  I'm really, really glad!  My love for her is the last major obstacle to me moving on.

How many people had to go through a process of falling out of love with their ex's?  Just wondering.

see ya

Congratulations, Blazin, and yes I mean that with all seriousness.  It took me about 10 months before I could honestly say what you just did.  I think as guys we are stubborn and sort of hold out hope we can "fix" things or solve the "problem'.  It therefore takes a while to accept things, and therefore a while before the love fades.  Once again, congratulations, it is a big stop you just realized.

Cheers,

Bubba

Re: I think I'm falling out of love with my exwife. Lumpy:   Congrats blazin'. Pretty much agree with Bubbas' sentiment. There are somethings ya just can't fix...
Re: I think I'm falling out of love with my exwife. hudson: Thanks guys!  It does feel good.  I haven't been trying to fix anything regarding our relationship for a long time.  That hasn't been the issue.  The issue is simply giving my heart enough time to release her.  And now it finally seems to be doing just that...my heart is letting her go.
Re: I think I'm falling out of love with my exwife. hardened_heart1970: yes, been there, done that... its the best. i mean second best feeling in the world. then actually not giving a crap about what happens to them, is
