Embarrassing First Date Moments Smiley17: I was just thinking (as I'm supposed to be getting ready to leave ::)) About my most embarrassing moment on a first date, and I'm wondering if you'd share yours too. You know, so I don't feel like a total idiot!
Lord knows I've embarrassed myself a million times on this board already, what's one more? ::) ;) :P
Ok, so here goes...
It was way back in December. I was on a first date with someone I had just met, and we went to have a couple of drinks. Because I was driving a good distance, I didn't have anything but diet Pepsi. Hmmm...
So, I needed to pee, went to get up, grabbed my purse, and knocked my glass over, it hit the floor and shattered. I just looked at my date, smiled shyly and said, "That was me, wasn't it?"
Of course he, and the bartender laughed (thank God!), and made fun of me the rest of the night. Luckily, I have a good enough sense of humor, and it didn't bother me, but I did feel like a little bit of a geek! ::)

bringing him over and my roomate hits on him majorly - I come out of the bathroom and she is sitting on his lap and he is beet red embarrassed.
Needless to say - we weren't roomates for long
Then her inviting herself very forcefully to go out for a few drinks with us and getting totally smashed and sloppy drunk, then calling him an A**hole cause he wasn't taking the bait.

He says: "B-O-B."

Re: Embarrassing First Date Moments dgiirl: When I was dating my stbxh, we went to a resturant, and as i sat down and got the utensiles out, somehow the fork flew accross the table and landed right in front of him. He was extremely shocked and ask if he did anything to piss me off. Then said he was thankful it wasnt the knife :)
I've also had a few drinks spilled from time to time. My stbxh is an ass about those things tho because he tends to get embarassed and makes me feel like an idiot. Recently, I went out with two of my guy friends, same thing happen, and they were complete gentlemen. I was shocked they didnt make me feel like a retard. That was the beginning of me realizing my stbxh isnt all that! :)
