I still can't shake the nostalgia of the day though. I've been tempted to tell a mutual friend to wish him a happy birthday for me if they get together tonight. But I won't. Even after two and a half years of learning to make some sense out of everything that has happened, and in some ways I feel like I'm still at square one.
*sighs*
It's a good reminder that things do change as time goes on for me at least. I'm not that angry person anymore more often than not. (well, I still have my days)
Looks like I owe myself a nice dinner tonight at least though. 8)
