Re: i broke my camera.... in_search_of: I so want a new camera before the baby is born, I don't think its going to happen, but I really really want one! So perhaps I should break mine. Actually, I think I would be happy with brand new batteries for my old camera, I think that would make it work better!
Re: i broke my camera.... HeartbrokenDingo: Amola,

Sully's right.  It may cost more to fix it than it would for a brand new one.  I don't know what the financial situation is or what kind of camera it "was" (How many mega pixels?), but they have really come down in price.  We have one at Office Depot for $279.99, a Kodak 730.  She's got 5 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom and a 3 or 4 x digital zoom.  Nice little camera, considering that 4 megapixel jobs used to go for $500.00.

FWIW  ::)

Re: i broke my camera.... amola: thanks for the suggestions....

it's not a fancy camera.....

hp 3.2mp  9x zoom

basically, it was the cheapest one that walmart had that still had a zoom on it.  i think i paid about $129 for it, more or less.  it's a darned good little camera and i really like it, and i hate the thought of having to ditch it already.  i might look into getting it repaired but yeah, if it's too much, i'll just opt for another new cheap one.  lol
