Re: (Sigh) browngreen: BUg,
He sounds like a pretty socially inept person.
My son will say things about how so-and-so thinks I'm weird or whatever (in this town, I tend to stick out becuase I"m not a 1950's throwback) and it does get under my skin sometimes, especially when I feel that I was nice and not-weird to the person. Also, I worry about how it affects him. If He's offended.
I usually blow it off and just say "O really? They said that, huh? Well did you tell them they're right? I AM weird, and I'm Proud?"
Truth is, it DOES bother me a little, for like 10 minutes. The last time, I told my son that it's not nice to pass that sort of thing along, and I for one don't want to hear it. I had found myself getting upset and trying to discredit the person in question (usually the person in question is someone in our neighborhood, or another kids' parent, and my son here's the critique about me via his friends....).

This is why he did it. There are many people out there that can only build themselves up by tearing others down. Sad, but true. Don't believe what he says Bug.

Re: (Sigh) Suddenly Single: I agree with Christy. Don't let him abuse you like this Bug.
Breathe in - Breathe out......don't listen to him and as hard as it is - wipe your butt with his comment and the so called comment this other person may or may not have said. He is just trying to put you down.
HUGS to you! SS
