Single with 4 kids!?! wendieann: Well, I am afraid to date... ??? Who really wants to start a relationship with me when I have 4 kids!? Not just that but a 2 month old baby too?! ??? I have so much baggage... (i would never turn back having kids though)
Thankfully though, I am financially stable and I am lucky enough to stay at home with my children... so, that shouldn't scare them... :-\

I am afraid of hurting my kids again. :( It's bad enough they father died and the only other "father" figure in their lives leaves us, and has nothing to do with them!!! How rejecting is that for them?!!!
At least my 18month old and 2 month still have a father... My teenagers are alone again... :(

i am right there with you.....i have 3 wonderful kids who are almost 6, 4, and 15 months. had all of them with my now ex-husband. started dating after our divorce, and got pregnant. i'm now about 19 weeks along, and the baby's father is gone (actually, he's with his OTHER girlfriend, who is about 10 weeks along...but that's a whole 'nother story).....
anyway, i was scared to death that no one would want me. especially being pregnant. so i figured well, ok, after i have the baby maybe it won't be so bad to try to date.
but.....it looks like my situation might be changing.....there is someone out there who is willing to accept me and ALL of my children.....and i can't even begin to tell you what an amazing feeling that is.....just take your time.....
yes, there are going to be guys who will run screaming the other direction when they find out that you have 4 kids. and those guys aren't worth the effort anyway. but somewhere, there is a guy who is perfect. and you'll find him when you're least expecting it...
