I'm old for my age (as cliche as that sounds). I've always felt like I was born in the wrong generation. I don't think I'm the "normal" 23 year old - I don't like going to clubs and bars, I don't like rap and heavy metal music, etc. (This could get depressing!)
My ex-in-laws were 13 years apart, and they're still together and whatnot. I don't know. I guess I'm afraid that the age gap is too much, but I know that everyone says age doesn't matter... so its hard to figure out which view is correct.
Bah. Until its a problem, I probably shouldn't worry about it... right? Please someone say that I'm right, because he's really hot! ;D

Re: How relevant is age? dgiirl: TH, are you planning on marrying the guy or just going out to have fun? If you are prepared to risk your heart again, then just go with it, have fun. If you're not prepared to risk your heart again, then you really shouldnt be dating in the first place :)

Re: How relevant is age? Shanna: I personally have a no more than 10 older rule....but then I gave my number to a guy that was 16 older....it ended up we had NOTHING In common, but I didn't discrimate bc of age just by my personal choice.

Re: How relevant is age? tyrogers: My son's father is 7 years older than me. I don't know. Just use YOUR best judgment. If you feel funny about it or you don't think you have much in common, etc., don't do it. Otherwise, take a chance. Ya never know what may come of it.
