Not sure where to ask this? microtech1: So I have a question that I would like you all to weigh in on. Maybe it should go in the dating section but I will put it here because it envolves someone other than who I am dating. No it doesn't concern another interest if that's what you are thinking.... ;)
So I went to see my gf this weekend and she told me that my neighbor and her have been emailing. They have met several times and we all hang out together from time to time. The fact that they email is fine with me because he is one of my best friends and I want her to be freinds with my friends. The only thing that bothers me is that he told her that it would be in her best interest to not tell me that they were emailing. He said I might get jealous!! Now I am not an overly jealous person and in fact he flirts with all the women I have ever introduced to him. He is in his late forties and I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt me, but this comment go to me a little.
Am I being to sensitive or do I have a right to be upset about this?

Me: "What the fuck are you doing? Hey, I don't mind you emailing my woman, but what the fuck is deal with you telling her not to tell me about it?"
Friend: "I just didnt want you to get jealous over nothing"
Me: "Like I would give a shit if you talk to my woman. I want you guys to get along."
Friend: "Alright, man, sorry. I just didnt think it was a big deal and I didnt want you to get all pissed off."
Me: "Pissing me off is not telling me. Now buy me a freaking beer. I figure you owe me."

Re: Not sure where to ask this? ColoHill: I would say that the fact that your friend is trying to keep this one a secret sounds a bit shady. You know him better than any of us. Do you think he would try anything? I think the fact that this does bother you so does mean you might have had a sincere reason to be upset. But, if you talk to him about it and bring it all to light, things might not be so bad. I would indeed take the conversation along the lines that Bubba suggested...Good luck!
