If we are shooting pool and someone is watching/eyeing me (I never notice, he does), he does the quick block of my body with his body-or holds my hand-or puts his arm around me, etc. I never noticed it before. On topic again, it is just nice. EXAMPLE: We were at my local bar and Bubs had gone to get me a drink. Well, this guy (about 6'-big guy) walks by me, smiles and says "Come on. Give me a smile! It's not that bad." Well, I smiled all right, cuz I saw Bubs coming back with the drinks. LOL Bubs (5'4") walked up between that dude and me, handed me my drink, turned directly to this guy and said "Hey, how ya doin'?" with that "look" on his face. The big guy just walked on, said nothing. I LOVED IT!
Although, trust me, I "lay claim" to him too. God help any woman who tries to get my man. The redneck shall be released and hell hath NO fury like a redneck woman protecting her "investment". ;)
