My life keeps getting weirder and weirder... tara: Thursday night, J and I are getting together with a couple I'll call A and B. (We'll say A is the man.) I'd met A and B briefly before at a party, but never hung out with them.
B is a long-ago ex of J's. It was a brief fling.
A is a long-ago ex of J's ex-wife. It was a longer relationship, but nothing too serious.
The kicker (and this is a new one)...B is also a long-ago ex of J's wife. Yep...J and his ex-wife dated the same woman (although not at the same time), and A and B dated the same woman (no idea about timing on that one).
J told me his former home city was incestuous -- a semi-big, nearby city that's still small enough for everyone in certain circles to have dated everyone else, so the fact that he and his ex once dated people who are now married to each other isn't a shocker -- but this is a new one.
This should be interesting.

Oddly...yeah, probably. ;D Everybody involved seems to be pretty open-minded about matters of sex and love...
There's little chance of that, though -- apparently, things between J's ex and (A? B? Both? That was never made clear) ended BADLY, whereas things between J and B just fizzled. So the likelihood of his ex-wife intentionally showing up within 50 miles of A and B is next to nil.

I was in a town like this and after a couple years, anyone at any given party had all slept together. It sorta had this safe feeling sometimes, like an All in The Family sort of thing and jealousy was never an issue wiht anyone. But I got tired of feeling like I could only date from that certain "pool" of men. I mean, after all, the world is a bigger place than that!
My H and I were both a part of that back then. Later, we remet in a new town without incest problems like that, and we'd talk about how totally weird it was that everyone was jus pretty happy sharing everyone else- (not literally). It was like no one had any real feelings for anyone individual. More like we were all in love wiht the entire group, so dating someone from the group was like gonig to bed wiht the whole group.
It's funny because news/technicques and skills would travel. So say someone was new and maybe did something no one else was doing (in bed), well, pretty soon, everyone would be doing it. I dated 3 men from this group throughout about 4 years, and it was like they all had gotten the same memo...
