Re: My private thoughts: "You all are like gnats at a picnic!" Kermie: It is very hard to to the "better one" all the time. My ex and OM sound like they are doing the same as yours. Substance abuse and spending money like water, when they have it. It killed me for the past year to send my 9 yr old and 11 yr old over to "their" apartment. But what I have found is that the kids crave the structure and care that I give them. The other two are fun but it wears off sooner or later, now they are more annoyed by them and want to stay with me. Carma is a beautiful thing and the way they live their lives will come back and get them, in my case it took about a year for the carma to come around but when it did it was a wonderful thing. The only thing you can do is raise the kids to the best of your ability and help them to become responsible adults, teach them right from wrong, and how to treat others. Don't worry the lessons that they are trying to teach them will never stick as long as you are around.

He is responsible with our son, but he depends on her to do the house work, cleaning, etc. He just does the fun stuff. And neither of them are capable of helping him with his homework. I live only like a mile and a half away so I have to go pick him up when he is with him and help him with homework and then return him home. But she has come into a good deal of inheritance and he is now back to his old ways. Big boys and theit toys. Everything he wants she buys....it'll come back to haunt her though. Sooner or later. And I know that is what they are using is her inheritance money. The combination of both their hourly salaries is not as much as mine alone. So I know that they are not able to buy the things they are buying based on the income from their jobs. A convertible, a motorcycle, and also talking abouot buying a brand new car (expensive one) as well as another house!!!!
She'll learn the hard way.

But the kicker is, he stills says that he loves me and deep in his heart he wants me back, but he's with her. I asked him if he loved her...his response, I was her friend first, I do love her but not like I love you, not like a man should love a woman who is in her position in my life. Soooo..WTF...are u just basically telling me that she is there for youto use??? Ure using her money, ure sleeping with her, ure living off of her!!!! What's the deal???? But then again, why should I care??? She was sleeping with my husband when he was still MY husband. Should I give a royal S%*T??
Not at the moment, but I do have those moments. I see them together and my stomach just drops. Maybe that will get better with time.

Sometimes I wish he would call or just show up begging to come back to me...then again I'd rather cut off my right arm! :-\ I just don't know. I would be okay if he would just let it go, but he can't. If he hears that I am out whether it be alone, with friends or with a guy who is just a friend, he gives me the third degree....HOW DARE YOU!??? U are living with the woman you cheated on me with...what do u care??? Is it that u are not able to have your cake and eat it too???? He even went so far as to call a guy that I had been out with and tell him that I had some horrid disease!!! And another guy that I had been seeing for a couple of weeks, he goes and does a background check on and calls this guy's ex-g/f to tell her!!!! He doesn't want me to be happy. He is steadily finding ways to Pi$$ me off.

Re: My private thoughts: "You all are like gnats at a picnic!" ga_sunshyne: Okay...so u got me started...sunday i had to run my son by their house to pick up something that he had forgotten and I haven't seen the OW in a while. well she is like 5'6" wanna be redhead and she's like 47. she has hair all the way down her back and personally i think older women should not wear their long...it tends to pull their faces down making them look older. a really bad color job and she weighs like 160 lbs!!! Me **humhum** being almost 6' tall, weighing 132, blonde (natural with a little help from a bottle) and ten years younger, I was like YESSS no wonder he still texts me and ask for booty calls :P He's gotta clue as to what he is missing. He has even told me how prudish she is in bed......like I wanted to hear that!!!! BUt that I am a freak in bed and that turns him on. YEEEHAWWWWWWWW always wants what u can't have....
