Kids say the darndest things.....
.

Kids say the darndest things..... WhiskeyGirl: okay you guys....kids say some pretty funny shit sometimes ;D Lets get a thread going on the funniest things your kids have said to you, or you have overheard.
I'll start because I was just remembering and laughing about this earlier tonight...
My oldest was about 3, I was pregnant with my second and I was in the kitchen listening to C (my oldest) talking to my ex in the bathtub, they were having a tub together. I knew it was gonna get funny when I heard C say "daddy....whats that?" *drawn out silence* my ex says "um.....thats my *private parts*"
by now I am listening intently to see how he handles this little discussion....kinda snickering already......
but my daughter accepts that answer no problem....
all she says is "Oh" followed by a moment of silence while she processes this and then

"Mine doesn't swim"

I damn near bust a gut laughing ;D
Re: Kids say the darndest things..... charmed: I 'bout busted a gut laughing as I read this LOL Kids DO say the darndest things.

Re: Kids say the darndest things..... freovir: When my youngest was about three, i was puting her to bed and she wanted to sleep in my bed.  I told her she couldn't because the sheets were in the wash.  Without batting an eye she asked, "Did mom pee on 'dem?"

Re: Kids say the darndest things..... PiscesGoddess: Whiskey I thought just the other day of starting a thread like this ;D

Those stories are so cute!!

My little girl who always pops off with something that cracks me up..like she calls popcorn "fearcorn" or "parcorn" and will correct you if you dont get it right :P

She says to me the other day "mommy whats shampoo made of?" and I say I dont know and she thinks for a minute and says I think its made of flowers and paint and then they put the flavoring in.  ;D

This is the same child when she was about 4 or 5 looked at me and said Do you remember when I was in your tummy? and I said yes of course I do and she said I do too "It was really dark in there and I could hear your heartbeat" :o

I think her name is Saige for a reason..shes always coming up with things like that. ;)
Re: Kids say the darndest things..... LettinGo: Lol!! I love this thread!

When my oldest son was 4, he looked at me and said very seriously, "I want to be just like daddy when I grow up, but without the boobs".  :D
