I accepted a promotion... OnTheMend: I'm in Transfusion Medicine at a moderatly sized hospital. I've been the evening and night shift supervisor for about two years now.
Last week they offered me a promotion to (Long title.. itty bitty pay raise) "Transfusion Services Technical Supervisor for evenings and nights" this encompasses now 4 hospitals instead of just the one that I was supervisor for before.
Woo!!! They'll also pay for me to take a very BIG very important exam... which will make the pay raise less itty bitty!! (hopefully!!) I gotta study for about a year or so though, so it'll be a while.
Well.. I know I'm knew and all.. but there wasn't anyone really for me to share this with.. lol.. so.. there ya go.
