thats what I'm doing too... my own doctor told me to exercise rather than take any kind of anxiety tablet like Xanax which was prescribed by another doctor in my first week of my break up.
Getting fit does help with your self esteem ...hence While I still get angry/resentful ...I have no need to cry . so for me taking care of myself is what it's about now.
I think if I saw my girls upset ...it would bring me close to tears, and this does happen every weekend when my little 3yr old, says to me will I be coming back tommorow, she usually is crying when I go, & i can see the sadness across her face... maybe one day I wil have them all.

when i use to drop my 4yr old off at her mother's, she would cry and scream and try to stop me from leaving........very upsetting; i hope one day i can forget those days, but haven't yet.

Re: Do Men CRY ????? whatnext: On the day when I really realized it "was over" I sobbed in my car for about 5 or 10 minutes. Total sobs -- I felt much better afterwards. Then I could cry a little every week or two for a month or two, then I was done. Although I did tear up last week, because I was sitting with my stbx, and seeing her so remorseful, and sad, it made me sad for her.
