Re: This damn ring EssieDotCom: w0w, first off, applause to you for taking time and effort and passion to give into getting this ring for her!!! I never got an engagment ring from my STBX. NEVER! hell I'm lucky to have gotten a wedding band lol Okay so maybe the engagment ring isn't all that important, but it is to this woman.

And I agree with every one else, Sell it.  make some money, and buy yourself something really nice!  :)
Re: This damn ring Dire Wolf: Count yourself lucky to have the ring bro. My wife sold her engagement ring on South Street in Philly for $100 on a whim after less then a week of her moving out on me and the kids. I scrimped and saved when I was 21, making $5 an hour,  to buy that ring for her. It was only $1000 but that was everything to me then and it was an  antique. I sacrificed many nights out with friends because I wanted to get her something special as a token of my love. For her to sell it, especially for that little, broke my heart to shreads and pissed me off to no end. >:(

Sell it and do something for you man. Keeping it will only add to the hurt everytime you look at it.

Re: This damn ring Feel: Hi Lost boy

How are you?  Well to be honest I would love to ware my engagement ring again but I haven't since Jan /05...

If you want I will be more than happy to share that beautiful ring you say you have with you!  :P ;D ;)

I am thinking about you...

My situation just seems to stay the same or if I think about it, my limbo is still stuck on me.
Re: This damn ring dgiirl: Hey lostboy :)

I'm going to go against the norm.  Right now, I think you're still wrapped up in the emotional rollercoaster and I would hate you to do something  that you would regret.  I dont recommend selling it just yet, but I do recommend putting it away in a safe place.  Can you stash it in your parents attic or something?  This way, it's out of sight, out of mind, but you can return to it when you're a little stronger to decide what you want to do.

Or, you can always send it over here ;)  I can keep it safe

Re: This damn ring KdUb: Me, I asked her if she wanted it.  She said yeah.  So I told her the estimated value would be split and I would apply my half to the equity in the house to buy her out.  She didn't say anything.  Oh well.  I don't want it!  LOL!
