I'm too happy about this.
But here's the thing... I don't even WANT a boyfriend!

BUt what's so super cool about Suds is that he's not conventional. He has yet to call me, for instance. He's sort of a smart scientist type of man, and you know what? I get it.
It doesn't bother me that he doesn't call me.
I know it's not because he doesn't like me. It's because he just isn't thinking about "making moves" and stuff. I KNOW he's thinking about me. It shows when he smiles when he sees me, and that he's left his beard on (I like his beard. it's really soft. he was going to shave it and I told him I liked it, and well... it's still there)
And the even cooler thing is that him being himself frees me up to be more down to earth and less of treating our relationship like it's some game.
When I get right down to it, I want authenticity, and unconditional love/approval. I think I"ve met someone who can actually give and recieve that.
I'm still emotionally unavailable, and I'm not sure when and how to tell him that. I don't want anything serious.... just fun, friends, freedom, and to stay like I am: single in my head and able to persue my life as I do.
I feel really optimistic that something good is coming from this, and I'm so stoked!
I didn't think I would be, but last night he said he likes that I'm older than him and that I'm a good woman for him to be with. Ok, so granted that does not make me his woman, LOL, but he also talked about making summer plans with me.
His timing was just right because I was reallly wondering how all of this rested with him, and he needed no prompting to say how he felt/saw things with us.
It made my day-- actually, it made I hope, my week!
