Sushi Dolphin Close: What's your favorite sushi? Did you have an aversion to raw fish before you tried sashimi? I have to eat sushi at least once in two weeks and I'm dating a guy who dislikes it. By the way, my favorite is shrimp tempura roll. What's yours?

Re: Sushi lghawaiian: My personal favorite is Unagi (fresh water Eel. The fresh water part is important.) Any tuna roll is awesome in my book as well.
I love sashimi, particularly Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna). Salmon is also good in sashimi form, but not as firm.
For those who haven't tried sushi, remember that there are many varieties that do not inclue raw fish. The tempuras listied in the posts above are fried, and unagi is marinated in a soy/brown sugar sauce and grilled/pan fried.

Yummy!! But, tuna is NASTY!!! And I HATE roe. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Little bursts of could be baby fishys. Bleck. But Salmon... mmm :)
