Re: What did you believe as a kid that is funny to you now? sigkapgirl: LMAO!!! That's great!!!!!!

You know those "Adopt A Hwy" signs? I thought the name of the road was the  "Adopta Hwy" :P
Re: What did you believe as a kid that is funny to you now? PickingUpThePieces: TH:  Ha, I can relate!  ;D

Re: What did you believe as a kid that is funny to you now? kittenpants: Isn't it funny how our brains worked back then?  I used to totally misunderstand song lyrics.  I grew up in a town called Excelsior Springs and I always, always thougth that was what the Christmas song said, not Excelsus Deo (sp).  Ha!
Re: What did you believe as a kid that is funny to you now? PickingUpThePieces: And when I was little I thought they were singing, "In eggshells this day-o".  :D
Re: What did you believe as a kid that is funny to you now? sigkapgirl: Oh lord. I could go on and on about song lyrics that I managed to screw up as a kid! Two of the ones that I remember the most:

Uptown girl: I thought it was "Up Down Girl" and would jump up and down (I was like three).

I can't remember the song, but it goes "Cupid, draw back your bow" I thought it said "Cue head, draw back your dough" and was a song for the Pillsbury doughboy  ::)
