Friday - Smiley Style Smiley17: Hey Guys!
So, today's my last day in this department - YAY!!! BUT, guess how my day starts off? 2 FLAT TIRES!!!!!! How's that for starting your last day?! Yeah, it cost me $25.00 to get my tires fixed. Not that it's a big complaint, but those 2 tires are part of the 4 BRAND NEW ones that I put on the freakin' car in the past YEAR!!! HELLO!!!???
Ok, I was an hour late for work this morning, and to top it all off, my team had a nice breakfast set up to say good-bye to me that I was an hour late for!! I felt like such an A$$!!!
Yeah, hi Smiley, here's a nice breakfast for you! Smiley gets not one, but 2 flat tires and ruins the nice surprise they had set up!!! Not that it's a big shock because each time anyone tries to surprise me, I find a way to screw it up! Seriously, I really do, but it's not on purpose.
I was late for my bridal shower (an hour).
I was late for my first baby shower (an hour).
I never even got to show up at my work baby shower when I was pregnant with my second son because I went into labor as a result of a fight with the sbtx!
I was late for my surprise 30th birthday party (a half hour).
Now, I'm an hour late for my going away breakfast (an hour).
Note to all: Don't plan surprises for me, unless you plan on me being late!

When I was late for my surprises, it wasn't really my fault. Ok, the bridal shower was part my fault, but the stbx was supposed to get me there and was dragging his feet, so it wasn't entirely me! The others, well, mother nature and other factors went into those! I was on time otherwise! LOL!!
Songbird's right, after today, my posting during the week is going to take a nose dive, but maybe it's time for that. I just hope I'm not forgotten! Well, if I am, I'll just jump right back in! LOL!!!
Ok, so the school nurse just called and told me that T just got soap in his eye from blowing bubbles at school and he wanted to come home. I talked to him and said that he needs to stay, and asked the nurse if he NEEDED to come home, she said no and that his eye is much better, so he stays.

Ok, to top of this hell of a day, GG can't be found. I found out today that upstate NY doesn't have Nextel service!!! >:( Nice, so if he's staying an extra day, I'm not going to know until tomorrow! >:(
Of course 5 minutes before it was time to leave for tonight, we have one of our quarter end "firedrills" where a certain number of millions worth of orders needed to be in the system before we left today. My last day there, and 4:55, I get stuck with this crap!
