Well, we finally spoke since the email saying she wasn't going. I asked what it meant and why she cancelled. She said, "Cause you told me to!" WRONG REASON! I said, if that is the only reason, then you might as well go because I don't want you here if you aren't here for the right reasons. For you. For us. If you're not 10,000% committed to me and ONLY me......go to Vegas. Live your life. I'll have your papers ready on Monday.
She said she wanted to talk about it later. Later when? Then she said when I get home. I confirmed that she was going to come home and she said yes. Dunno what that means or even if it's for real.
We shall see if she even shows up. I told her dad and he said, "don't be surprised if you don't see her at all if you're not 100% certain she cancelled the trip." He's probably right. But at least then I'll know. If she doesn't show up by the time her flight leaves, papers are getting signed on Monday. So sad. :-\
Re: THE ULTIMATUM alonewith2: I can understand where you are coming from. Saying she did it because you told her to is the wrong answer! I had an exbf who would always ask me to give him a second chance with him. When I asked why, his answer was always because he didn't want to be alone. I never did give him that second chance. I want someone who wants to be with me because they can't imagine life without me, not because they just don't want to be alone.
I think you are doing an awesome job sticking to your beliefs and what YOU want and deserve!!!
