No matter how hard I work Mooneyes: No matter how hard I work I seem to get no where. I can't seem to get anything done right. I can't seem to actually finish a divorce, have a clean house, have a job where I do well.
Today I ... woke up to a bill collector... It is under $1000 but I can't pay it. Not a good way to start the day....feeling inadequate.
...locked myself out of my apartment.
... had my ex tell me he is thinking he is going to make a life change so that he can have our dog. :( Not only do I worry about not having my dog, I also wonder who he is going to live with that would make him suddenly able to have the dog. When I needed him to take the dog he wouldn't.
I feel like no matter how hard I work I can't seem to get myself together. Why even bother?

Re: No matter how hard I work missycristin: I find myself saying "nothing can ever be f-ing easy for me can it" or "Just once I'd like things to go my way" Unfortunately when something is remarkably easy, or does go my way I never notice.
Perhaps the light at the end of tunnel will work for you.
Realizing that this breakup doesn't define me or my life helps me.
That and the occasional cocktail.
