Re: Friends? shockedandamazed: You know what Dharma - you should tell them to F** Off and go visit the laundry mat ...and who knows you might actually meet a REAL friend there...if they are covering up for her, then it is obvious they don't have your best interests at heart right now...

People suck sometimes, don't they? They are no better than she is!
Re: Friends? Lumpy:   That sucks dharma. Sounds like they're not nuetral at all. If they covered for her they are not your friends.

Re: Friends? jillieb44: Laundromats suck, but that's what I currently have to use, too.  Hard with 2 kids and lots of laundry!  Especially when they spill stuff on the comforters covering the futon....ARGH!

I can afford a washer/dryer, but right now have to find a plumber to fix the drain first before hooking one up....nobody can seem to recommend a good one...

Re: Friends? minneapolis: It's amazing how badly our friends can hurt us, isn't it?  I would think that neutral would mean caring for you both equally, instead of not caring for you both equally.  But I don't know them so it's hard to know their frame of reference.  It's possible they're hearing a very different side of hte story to make them act the way they do.  Not ot make excuses for them, but someties when my friends hurt me it helps to think that they probably didn't mean to.

The one thing I've learned is that loneliness, given enough time, will pass.  It will be hard, but it will pass.

I'm sorry.  I wish I could say something to make it all better, but I don't know what it is.
